AND THEN THERE WERE THREE…

And then there were three:
the obligatory three
wearing red, black and gray,
ruby, onyx, and whatever.
These middle class mannequins
in front of me.

Their mid-class whining. Their winning
is met with their own
thumbing, howling
for the hollowed Percocet.

They’re mean. They’re lean.
They’re dressed in blood and pupil.
I’m resisting my carcass meals
for their round pills.

I will soon replace them.
