MOLTING

I want to expatriate.
Grass is always more emerald.
I walk in the wrong orchard,
–not feeling sensation–
a sugar mask,
drained, mark of exsanguination,
an insect husk left
on the dry, prospect bed
of this nation.

Shedding, peeling,
I need a change…

of postcards.
